He speaks regularly at the Wasatch Area Real Estate Investors Association (WAREIA), and consults both privately and as an honorary NARS Network Member. He is the author of, "Working with Licensed Realtors and Lenders: A Step-by-Step Guide to Dominating the Market via Lenders, Realtors, and the NARS Equity Holding Trust™ Transfer System." and a member of the Utah Mortgage Lenders Association.
Smullin Design was engaged by Scott to systematize the sales process for his best selling e-book, design a brand new cover that would be used on the landing page, as well as to increase search engine ranking and subsequently improve sales.
The original landing page was static HTML 4. Payment was collected via PayPal Buy Now buttons and fulfillment was accomplished manually as an attachment via email response. Needless to say, this was time-consuming and limited the volume of sales one person could quickly handle.
The new design features the latest technology utilizing XHTML 1.0 Strict, CSS 2.0, as well as several search engine optimizations. The content management system allows Scott to login via a secure web back-office and tweak the copywriting of his landing page any time with little/no technical expertise. Additionally, customers pay with their favorite credit card and receive the e-book instantly via email as both payment processing and fulfillment are handled automatically by the system.
Shortly afterward, Scott's e-book leaped from absolutely no listing at all within the first 100 pages to ranking #4 on Google for the target keyword working with realtors and lenders . To date, hundreds of e-books have been sold using the new system, and he currently ranks #1 for the keyword.
Now Scott's time is free to focus on more important things like increasing sales volume. Both the CMS and PayPal track every sale and there is virtually no limit to the volume the new system can handle.
