SEOBook.com is a leading search engine optimization blog created by Aaron Wall covering the search space. It offers marketing tips, search analysis, seo tools, and a PDF e-book.

Having previously read Aaron Wall's SEO Book, Smullin Design was delighted when Aaron requested a proposal to expand his existing MovableType blog into more of a community site.

Aaron wanted his blog fans and e-book customers to be able to interact in new ways and on a paid subscription basis. Also, the original server was nearing its capacity to fulfill the load of millions of pageviews a day.

To start, Smullin Design took a step back and looked at the site from the perspective of the existing content and the author's future content needs. Smullin Design then presented Aaron with creative concepts that built upon the brand he had established as a premiere educational source for search engine consultants.

Upon approval, we transferred everything to a new server and performed several optimizations to the code, caching systems, and server configuration so that the system's capacity meets with the high volume traffic requirements.

The final product allows SEOBook.com to offer a wide range of dynamic features, including user accounts and profiles, subscription-based members-only areas, automated recurring monthly billing via PayPal, training area, newsletter subscriptions, and more.
